Beautiful home in the perfect location. Everything was clean and as described. The sunsets were stunning and it was refreshing to see the abundant wildlife (dolphins, birds, rabbits, and deer) from our deck. Our family had a wonderful visit and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Our last stay at 3806 Dolphin Point was so special! We brought two families together and had plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy for each. Waking up to the ocean every day was incredible and we spent our days moving between the house and the island club, which was a 3 minute walk. The beds were comfy, the house was very clean, and the kitchen was set up nicely for us to cook at home. When we didn't want to stay home, we explored Bohicket Marina (loved the upper deck at The Salty Dog) and Freshfields (get the frose at The Coop). Seabrook Island is one of our favorites and this house was everything we wanted!

We stayed 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The property is perfectly situated on Seabrook Island within walking distance of all amenities, of which there are plenty. The home was well appointed and spotless with all the necessary conveniences. The hosts went above and beyond the call of duty to assure our stay was problem free, responding to every query promptly. We intend on returning as soon as possible. My only point of note is that this property has a boardwalk leading directly to the water during high tide, so I'd advise caution with small children.

We recently stayed with two sets of grandparents and our toddler. The property was very clean, well kept, and had beautiful beach views! The elevator was key for my in-laws. The location was great—a block away from the pool and restaurants, very easy to navigate. The only downside was there were times of day that the tide came the whole way up to the pier steps so we had to be a bit strategic about when we went out back, but there are plenty of other areas of beach access and we had a wonderful time.

An amazing find. Price seemed fair for the experience. I don’t think there could have been a better location on Seabrook Island! The property owners were very communicative and super to deal with. They even did a quick shout out to us not long after we arrived just to make sure everything was perfect and as we expected. Even though we are all the way from Seattle, I think we will seriously consider a trip back to this property! And I can’t forget to mention the hours of dolphin watching from the back deck.

Location! Location! Location! This venue has it all! We saw South Carolina wild life daily with dolphins, sharks, jelly fish, birds, wild bunnies and gators. We had access to any amenity that we desired and a very safe environment to enjoy. Beautiful vacation! Sunsets and sunrises were amazing. Our host was terrific as well,! He was very attentive with any little mishap or accomodation that we needed. We will definitely return and hopefully soon! The weather was not great but Charelston is so close to keep teenagers busy. I love this area!

The house was in great condition and the view is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed a family getaway. Due to the location of the beach front property, the waves are kept to a minimum. This was perfect for our 2 year-old daughter who was just introduced to the ocean. She played to her heart’s content and then at high tide, when most of the beach is gone, we took advantage of the kiddy pool at the beach club and she also had the time of her life there. The owners are extremely responsive and we didn’t lack for anything. We also caught one of the most beautiful sunsets ever our last night there. It was a great vacation!!

Comfortable touches throughout the home, including well-stocked kitchen appliances, dishware, and utensils. Special bonus: variety of herbs and spices! Very close to the beach, and I even enjoyed being washed over by high tide. If you would prefer all day sand, and less high tide, beach on other side of the Club is short drive, even a short-moderate walk if not carrying a lot of gear. Sumpter was very responsive,and took care of seven looped together rental bicycles that were blocking access to garage, apparently neglected pick-up by rental company. Very expansive streaming channels, but I would ask Sumpter to provide a listing and useage guide for the less tech savvy-perhaps well-displayed in plain sight? It was beautiful weather, though and we did not do movie nights after all.

We have smart TV s and Dish Network does offer a lot of channels so there are many options to choose from besides the dish. My wife and I, our two adult sons, their wives and our two grandsons stayed at this beautiful, beachfront home the first week of May. We'd all been excited about this trip based on the pictures online but to a person we all agreed the pictures don't do this home and community justice. We'd never been to Seabrook Island before and all I can say is "Wow". First class facilities coupled with a completely unspoiled environment. We saw deer outside nearly every day and we did see dolphins several times each day. The home is well-equipped and with four full bathrooms everyone had plenty of space to get ready. We highly recommend this beautiful property and will definitely plan to return.

This was our first time staying on Seabrook, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location, or a better host! The house is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could need, whether you were staying in, or just in an out to the beach. The weather was unusually chilly during our stay, but the views were spectacular, and our teenage girls were able to tan both on the upper balcony of the house, and the pool up the street. Sumter was prompt with all messages and couldn’t have been kinder. We miss it already but highly recommend this rental.

We were able to watch dolphins off the balcony at sunset (the sunset was breathtaking). Home very clean and spacious. Make sure you rent bikes to ride around the island, very fun. Only small complaint is owners are a little chintzy on the supply front. Hit the store on the way in for a couple boxes of tissue (none provided) and paper towels (half a roll provided), and if you're going to cook, grab some aluminum foil , saran wrap and baggies (none provided). Small issue, and won't stop us from coming back. Place is amazing!!!

We rented the house with friends. 4 couples total. It was perfect. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. The views alone are spectacular. Relaxing on the deck is so peaceful. The pool is a few minute walk. We drove into Charleston several times for activities and dining. We all had a wonderful time. I hope to come back with my children.

House was even nicer than the photos. Spectacular views, comfortable and well-maintained. High quality furnishings, spacious. Lovely area with many amenities. Very good supermarket minutes outside gate allowed us to cook in most meals, which was a nice surprise. (There is a Whole Foods 25 minutes away, which delivered, so our groceries arrived 10 minutes after we did. In retrospect, though, this was unnecessary as Harris Teeter had everything we needed.) Loved seeing the dolphins multiple times per day, each and every day. Sumter was an excellent host - always responded promptly, helpful information on site at house with handy labels on anything non-intuitive. Hope we will return someday soon!

Our stay at this Seabrook Island gem exceeded our expectations in every way! We can't wait to return! The house is right on the water where a tidal estuary meets the Atlantic Ocean. Mornings greet you with beautiful views of dolphins, pelicans and cormorants over soft, gentle waves. As it was December, we were unable to really go in the water, but we certainly witnessed teenagers and dogs frolicking in the surf from time to time. The home is beautifully appointed with comfortable, upscale furnishings and higher-end appliances. Everything works as expected, and the owners are quick to respond (15 minutes) to any questions. The elevator was a great help, as Grandma came along on this trip. Luggage and groceries were also made less burdensome. Seabrook Island is beautifully groomed and maintained, Neighbors are friendly and the club facilities are beautifully outfitted. We really could not ask for a more relaxing, restorative way to end the year, and we do plan to return. We also look forward to visiting this fabulous home again!

Not enough stars to rate the property high enough. Beautiful house with the best location on the island. We had a group of 8 and there was more than enough room for everyone. Large open kitchen and living room space, all flowing to a great outdoor entertainment deck directly on the beach. A short walk to the pool complex with a great outdoor dining option, small store and private beach with chairs and umbrellas. Included is access to a separate facility with another huge pool, workout areas, tennis and even horses! Everything was updated and clean, we had everything we needed - including an elevator ! Owner was very easy to work with. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!

We were unaware of the fact that the tide would come in and out throughout the day, which limits your beach time, but we used that time to sight see around the area. This 4 bedroom - 4 bath home is steps away from the water AND the golf course! The house was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Our family spent a wonderful week at this beautiful beach front property. The home is located at Dolphin Point and has a lovely view of the water and the wildlife is constant. The accommodations are high end, clean, and of high quality. We enjoyed the beach, golf (across the street), horseback riding, and exploring Seabrook Island on Bicycles. Our family has enjoyed Seabrook Island for 40+ years, and our visit to Dolphin Point this summer was the best ever! The house is gorgeous and beautifully appointed. The sunsets are breathtaking. I enjoyed being on the porch where I could watch our family having a spectacular time on the beach. The breeze was so soothing. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were top notch. The family enjoyed the quiet waves on the beach as well as the Beach Club swimming pool. The elevator was especially nice because it carried all of our stuff without killing our backs and feet! We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this property.

The location was fantastic- like we had our own private beach, perfect for our 4 year-old. No matter the time of day, you could look out on the water and see dolphins, sometimes they looked like they were only 10 ft from the shore line. The home was incredible- every detail tended to: spacious and stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, soothing Southern decor... perfect getaway without feeling like we were away from the comfort of our own home. We could not have asked for a better vacation. The owner was also very gracious and accommodating and quick to respond to every email. My only suggestion would be to have a few extra blankets (for living room and bedrooms). We hope to make this an annual vacation spot!!

This is our favorite vacation retreat. We have stayed at this property several times. We cannot find a place on the eastern seaboard that provides so much. You are steps from the beach. My wife and I can watch the grandchildren play from the porch. Not many eastern seaboard locations offer a sunset view and Atlantic Ocean view all in one. At this point on the island it curves slightly southwest providing that sweet spot on the island to see the sunsets at the Rivers entrance to the ocean. Distant islands are also in the view just adding so much more than the basic ocean view. You have to see this property to really appreciate all it has to offer. The rooms and the furnishings are top of the line and just add some comfort to the stay. We will be back again!

We rented this house for a family vacation and were not disappointed. I am very selective about the places we stay, and looked at many properties. I settled on this one for the size of the house and closeness to the beach. My husband insists that he has to be ocean front, and direct beach access. Everyone loved the house and will definitely come back. This house was the perfect base for our beach vacation. The house has everything needed to make the stay easy and comfortable. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, grill, and to our surprise the kitchen had spices and coffee! This house is steps from the ocean. The beach looks rocky from the pictures, but when the tide is out, there is a large sand beach. The location of this house is perfect, especially for families and golfers. It is a block from the golf club and the club pool. The pool area has a full restaurant, snack bar, clean bathrooms off the pool, plenty of chairs...great set up for families. There are so many little extra touches in this house all designed to make your stay special and easy. My only disappointment was the pet policy; my little fur baby would have loved the beach!

As previous reviewers have written, this house is a dream rental with a stunning waterfront view - perfect for ocean and dolphin watching by day and sunset viewing by night. In between, there is plenty to do and see in the area. The house is nicely appointed with anything you might need including beach toys for the kids. As we rented with a 15 month old grandchild, I especially appreciated that the house was simply and beautifully decorated, but not filled with so many personal items that we constantly had to worry our grandchild might break something. While you do need a bike or car to get to the sports center, the beach and golf center are footsteps away. We vacationed in March, when it was unseasonably cold, so we'd love to go back sometime during warmer weather to fully appreciate all the area has to offer. I highly recommend this house as a vacation rental. It was perfect for our family get together!

This house and location was perfect. In the previous reviews the Dolphins were always mentioned. I thought it would be great to go sometime in the summer months to see that. I had no idea that they would be there year round. We could basically set on the porch or look out the back windows and see them all day long, every day. I have been to several beaches over the years and this by far was the cleanest. I could set on the back deck all day and really relax. The sunsets were over the top. The house was beautiful and very well laid out. If you don't want to cook you could walk right across the street and go to the Club House for a great meal. I would definitely go back.

This is our second trip and it was just as great as the first. The owners make the overall experience easy. This home is well kept and in a great location. It is very comfortable and beautifylly decorated. I am not sure where else you would get as close to the beach. The porch is relaxing and such a quick walk to the beach. They have plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. You are walking distance to the pool. The kids loved watching the fishermen and watching the dolphins swim by. Seabrook is the type of place that you can go to and not get back in the car for a week. We honestly could not say enough great things about Seabrook and this house!

This is our third time visiting Seabrook. Our family has fallen in love with Dolphin Point. This location has it all. It is a short walk to amenities and the beach is foot steps out the back door. Because of the way the island bends at the location of this home, you get beautiful sunsets on the eastern seaboard of all things. Sunsets, Shrimp boats, crabbing, dolphins, walks, amenities -- #1 spot on the island hands down. AND did I mention the home? Beautiful elegance in beach home. Roomy with pristine views -- nights on the porch listening to the wind blow through the palms as waves roll onto shore. It's a 24 hour dream spot.

Communications leading to the rental were perfect. The property was exactly as described (maybe better). Lynda and Sumter are the consummate in absentia hosts. Provided a check-in letter with necessary and other helpful information. Sunsets - check. Dolphins - check. Almost private beach. House is well appointed and even comes with beach chairs, canopies, and sand toys. Don't forget your swim suit and beach towel. If luxury does have a lap, it is here. My family hopes to return.

Our week long stay was just wonderful. Sumter and Lynda's home was comfortable and delightful. My mother, whom is handicapped, was able to navigate the home and balcony with ease. We must have spotted 60 dolphins through the week and just absolutely loved the view. During the reservation and planning early on, Sumter responded quickly to my queries. He also kept us updated about weather through the week. The restaurants close by and on Kiawah were great options. Check out the "Ocean Room" and "Jasmine's Porch" and one of our favorites that we visit every year is the "Wild Olive"....Thank you for sharing your home. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We have lovely memories to hold close to our hearts and plan to return.

Spectacular Family Vacation ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We traveled with our 3 daughters, sons-in-law, and our almost 2 yr. old grandaughter. The house and Seabrook Island exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful, with plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect as it is so close to the pools, restaurant, and clubhouse. Mornings were spent at the pool, walking or bike riding and afternoons on the beach right in front of the house. We enjoyed the house and island so much that we didn't see much of Charleston (although it's not that far). The owner, Sumter, was a pleasure, always answering questions very quickly and making us feel welcome in his home. As we were leaving, my daughter said "Bye house and Seabrook Island, til next time"... and there definitely will be a next time!!

We were first-time visitors to Seabrook Island and were looking for a perfect family house on the beach. Honestly, we are very selective travelers and this house does not disappoint. The owner was extremely responsive, courteous, and honest. The house was very well situated on the beach, with lots of opportunities for our kids to watch dolphins, fly kites, and have fun. The house itself was in terrific condition, with a great layout, excellent water views, and a very welcoming vibe. We plan to stay there again and I do not hesitate to recommend this to others.

Our family had a great visit to Seabrook Island. The house was a highlight. Great BEACHFRONT access, with plenty of space inside and outside for family fun. House was clean, well-appointed and user friendly. Master bedroom and bath were a highlight. An added unexpected bonus was our comfort level and the personal hospitality provided by the owner. He could not have been more helpful and considerate towards our needs, even taking a weekend call to offer assistance with the outdoor grill. A great house to rent.

This home was terrific! My family rented this home for Spring Break 2016 and we were not disappointed. Sumter was easy to work with and the people on Seabrook Island were very friendly. The home is beautiful. The rooms are large and warmly decorated. The master suite is very comfortable with a great, king-sized bed and a deck that opens to the water. After a long day at the beach it was pleasant to end the day with a warm, walk-in shower or bath in the jacuzzi tub. Perhaps the best feature of the home is the amazing deck with a warm breeze off the water and a great venue for watching sunsets. The island itself is gorgeous. They have done a great job of developing it within its natural context, with beautiful trees and plants.

This was our first time to use VRBO and couldn't be happier. The townhome was just beautiful, just as was the island. Sumter couldn't have been any nicer or easier to work with. Our stay on Seabrook Island is one we will never forget. The views were amazing from the house and we found the rest and relaxation we were looking for. We saw dolphins, a leatherback sea turtle, and deer were in the backyard just about everyday. The beach was so close and made for wonderful walks everyday. I definitely would recommend it and hope to come back again.

This was a great place to vacation to get away and relax and enjoy the beautiful setting that Seabrook offers. The house couldn't have been any nicer. Some much room for everyone and everything you needed was there. Great sunsets from the decks and easy access to the beach. Located just a few steps away from the golf clubhouse and the pool complex. Despite the dire weather predictions of the first named storm of the year coming thirty days early and claiming at least two of our vacation days, the weather was absolutely perfect. We loved the house and spent hours on the ocean-side porch watching sunrises, sunsets, dolphins and one sea turtle. The beach being just steps away was such a plus for our group with a two year old. Everything was wonderful--beautifully appointed great room and four lovely bedrooms. We were close enough to walk to the golf courses and the pools. We didn't even need to bring our own beach gear--everything was there. Thank you, Sumter for sharing your home with us and being so organized in responding to our questions. Great back deck with excellent views of the ocean and sunsets. We had wine on the back deck every night watching the sunset. Excellent restaurants in the area with great seafood. You should check out the Fat Hen for good southern cooking. Great golf and fishing when or if you get board of the beach.

We rented the Bradwell house for 1 week in August 2014. The house is great, beach is wonderful and the sunsets and sun rises are amazing. We had 7 adults and 1 toddler and there was room for everyone to be together as a group or sneak a little time to yourself. We basically had the beach to ourselves, played a lot of bacci ball and took long walks. Sumter, the owner is very easy to work with and the house has everything you need and then some. Lots of chairs to use for the beach and beach toys for the little ones. Highly recommend this house for a family fest. Thanks Sumter!

The view from this home is spectacular. We found the home to be spacious, clean, nicely appointed and very tranquil. The location is perfect due to the close proximity to the various amenities. The owner is a dream to work with. He is very prompt in replying to any and all inquiries. A complete guide was emailed to me that made checking in and out so easy and gave me all the pertinent information I needed to enjoy my stay in his fabulous home. For the past five years, our family has rented vacation homes on Seabrook two to three times a year. Hands down, this was the best rental we have ever had. First, the location cannot be beat. We started each day (coffee at sunrise) and ended each day (wine at sunset) on the beach while the kids played. This house's backyard is the beach. Amazing. Second, the beautifully furnished and decorated house had everything we needed to feel at home. We love to cook and found the kitchen had excellent quality pots/pans/utensils, appliances, a number of spices for guests to use, and many wonderful cookbooks. Third, the owners of the house were very quick to respond to all of our questions and offer suggestions for our stay (from bike rentals to coordinating baby equipment rentals), thus ensuring that we had everything we needed to make this a memorable vacation! We will be back for sure. Our entire family of 6 had a wonderful time!

Had a great time. House is nice and very close to the ocean. Elevator was a nice addition. The pools were nice. Kids (1 and 4) loved seeing the dolphins, shrimp boats, and deer. Big driveway (and garage) to ride bikes in. The back porch was really close to the ocean (as compared to most beach houses in SC). Really nice property.

This was the best rental experience I have had. The house is actually on the beach. There's a backyard and then the beach. As far as I could see this one of only two houses that are on the beach. It is a very quiet beach, we often had the place to ourselves. The house is perfect. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom. It's very clean and very up to date. It is well equipped. Seabrook Island is a great place, there's tennis, horse back riding, pools, biking, wildlife, fishing... the list goes on. Our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. And Sumter is a very gracious individual to work with, prompt in responding and very considerate. I can't wait to go back!

My family and I recently took our annual Charleston area beach trip and explored Seabrook for the first time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our trip; including this property and the experience and ease of dealing with the owners. The home is of the highest quality; and the location is the best on the island - walking proximity to the key amenities and sunsets each night over the water. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking in the Seabrook or Charleston area in general. We had always gone to IOP in the past, but Seabrook is officially in the rotation going forward, and when it is, I'll book around the open weeks to ensure we use this property, and deal exclusively with Sumter.

Hands down, this was the BEST vacation we've ever had! Sumter and his wife are gracious hosts and go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy during your stay. Not only is their home absolutely gorgeous, but it is also warm, inviting, and comfy. Our kids felt like they were on a luxury vacation that only movie stars go on! The beach, which is right out the door, is perfect for little ones because the waves break and lap gently due to a small barrier island in front of the home which means parents can relax a lot more. Our 5yr old grand-daughter never wanted to come inside. The pools at the club are beautiful and very clean as well. We had such a wonderful time, that the tv was rarely on and the kids unplugged from their phones!! Can't do better than that! :-)

My family tries to vacation together once a year and with a wedding on Kiawah we were looking for a home big enough for 6 adults and three children, two being under 2 years old.We were pleasantly surprised with the solitude of each bedroom. Having the washer and dryer near the bedrooms was a plus. I brought things from home as you are never quite certain how well the kitchen would be stocked, but I certainly did not have to! We enjoyed scouring the numerous cookbooks for new recipes! Access to the beach was wonderful for our little guys and they loved the swimming pools! We saw dolphins every day and the back porch was a great place for napping and conversation. The owners are very accommodating and responsive to questions. My brother actually lives on Seabrook Island and recommended this as one of the nicest places on the island!

My wife and I and our four young children enjoyed the week at SI. We had stayed on Kiawah in the past, but found this home and it was a perfect match. The easy walk to the beach, the club house, and the pool house made it convenient for us with little ones. The variety of things to do: golf, fishing, tennis, swimming, yoga, biking and horse riding made this an easy place to entertain our kids' wide variety of interests (and ages). The home is impeccably decorated, designed and constructed; and the view from the living room and sun porch are spectacular. Four couples arrived to this perfect spot to enjoy a week stay with the men taking in the Par 3 Tournament at the Masters mid-week. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, walk the beach, play golf, shop and see the sights in Charleston with plenty of room for each of us. Everything we needed was provided, including the lovely patio furniture that provided a perfect spot for our morning coffee while we watched the dolphins. The owner was super responsive to the few needs we had. I would highly recommend this home for any group of up to 8 with privacy for everyone.

My family of 6 along with our in-laws traveled to Seabrook Island for a week stay. We found this property all we expected and more. From the minute we got there the kids enjoyed watching the dolphins and scouring the shore line for shells! The house was large enough for all 8 of us and provided a great place for everyone to eat and play together but still give us the privacy we wanted! We rented this beautiful beachfront home for a few very special days for our family (all adults) to be together. With two family members battling cancer, we realize each day is truly precious. This was a perfect place to get away and just have fun together. The house itself is fabulous -- comfortably elegant. Being right on the beach, the ocean view was spectacular. The large, well-equipped kitchen was great for cooking most of our meals, including the fresh shrimp and flounder we purchased locally. The elevator was a lifesaver for my mother, who is 74 and undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer. She was able to easily go up and down to and from the beautiful master suite. The owners went out of their way to make this a special time for us. We'd love to return to this lovely home on Seabrook Island.

Our daughter was getting married in October and we could not of asked for a better home to stay during this special time. The home is beautiful, very comfortable and of course has a beautiful view of the beach and ocean... and the dolphins that were constantly swimming by were a wonderful addition to the view. We immensely enjoyed renting this wonderful, large, beautifully decorated, well equipped home on Seabrook Island. Loved being right on the beach, hearing the ocean, and the convenience of being close to restaurants and pool. Close by are tennis courts and equestrian center. We rented bikes and had a great time exploring the island on them. Close to Charleston and many sightseeing attractions. Wonderful owner to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. We had no issues at all. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again. Wish it was closer to our home.

Our vacation and this home was absolutely perfect! Seabrook is such a nice spot to unplug and really enjoy friends and family. The Bradwell house was the perfect compliment. The home was beautifully appointed and felt new, spotless and peaceful. Everything from the location (walk to golf, pools and restaurants), the gorgeous house and the natural essence of Seabrook made this an exceptional vacation spot. We especially enjoyed our nightly visitors.....deer mama and two fawns walking through the backyard nightly. You can walk right out to the beach and the water is extremely calm. Sandbars are nearby. I would highly recommend renting kayaks for the week and taking daily adventures right from the beach. Spectacular!

This is a beautiful home filled with all the luxuries you could ask for. The location couldn't be better. This home is literally steps away from the ocean, a few more steps and you are at the pool! It is perfectly appointed with new and luxurious furnishings. The kitchen and baths are spotless and spacious. The photos do not do this home and it's views justice. The owner is very helpful and answered all my many questions quickly. Our every need was anticipated and met. I highly recommend this property. We loved every minute from opening the front door and being greeted by elegance and the ocean view, to reluctantly riding our luggage down in the elevator to pack for the trip back home.
