We love the marsh view and dog-friendliness of this unit. Kitchen was well-equipped, and screened porch was delightful.
Was trying to be safe because of exposure to covid. Walking, reading.. and touring was enjoyable.
Our stay at 1226 Creek Watch was all we hoped for. It was our first time staying in a villa/ townhome not located on the beach but as we hoped, the view was just as gorgeous. The size, furnishings and amenities met all our needs.
If you can't have beachfront this is the next best thing. The location is on the marsh with Oceanview to the left of the marsh. The view is beautiful and the screened porch is a wonderful place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The property is updated, perfect size for a family of 4, well-maintained, clean and the layout was perfect. We rented bikes and rode all over the island with ease. We went to the club everyday and there was plenty of chairs to layout and the pool area is very nice. We walked on the beach and saw plenty of dolphins and it wasn't crowded. We found ourselves the only ones on the beach down by the inlet that separates Seabrook and Kiawah. The equestrian center did a fabulous job and the advanced beach ride is a must for the horse lover. The management office was fantastic answering any questions we had before our trip and couldn't of been better. We highly recommend Seabrook, the property and the management office. One of our best vacations!
Despite the lack of dolphins, a week at 1226 Creekwatch on Seabrook Island is a first class affair. From the pools, the beach, the tennis, golf and horseback riding, the days were filled with relaxation and enjoyment, while the evenings took us to truly exceptional restaurants in Charleston.
Enjoyed our stay at this location for 2 years in a row
It was perfect but too short. Well amenitized and beautiful peaceful location over marsh - even has ocean peeks. Also perfect communication in terms of check in check out, the process was seamless. Strongly recommend this property.
Our rental at Seabrook (1226 Creekwatch) was perfect for us. Our group included myself, my husband and our 19 year old son. The beds were comfortable, the unit was impeccably clean and was all that was advertised. We especially loved the screened porch and the porch/patio on the lower level. We brought our bikes and our small dog. Our dog enjoyed walking on the beach and we really enjoyed biking throughout the island. We all enjoyed the wildlife on the island, from the amazing variety of birds to the deer. Never saw an alligator, maybe next time! In terms of activities on the island, we enjoyed a horseback ride on the beach, watching the dolphins along the river between Seabrook and Kiawah and collecting shells at low tide. We also enjoyed the sunrise view from our porch and also ventured down to Pelican beach end of the island to watch the sunset at Pelican Beach several times. The Freshfields shopping mall provided everything we needed from groceries to take out. We would recommend Cantina 76 (try the dirty queso and the Peruvian tacos) if you are looking for an "eat outside" COVID safe environment...or at least some really great tacos and margaritas! We also took a kayak trip with St. Johns Kayak tours and would recommend their services as well. Overall, we were very, very happy with our vacation at Seabrook and would definitely like to visit again!
We had a great week on the island. The marsh and creek views were great, always something to see.
Thank you so much for enjoying a stay with us at 1226 Creekwatch Villa. We love the views here too!
3 friends + a lovely view + the Beach Club on Seabrook Island = A Perfect long weekend!
The whole process was very smooth from booking to check-out. Wonderful villa overlooking the creek. Great kayaking and bird watching.
It was great! I enjoyed the golf course. The villa we stayed in was very nice and very comfortable.
Our two weeks at Seabrook exceeded our hopes for a relaxing vacation in South Carolina. The property was clean and maintained. Towels were soft and the bed, comfy. The proximity of the market was so convenient. We enjoyed dining at several restaurants, but the most extraordinary meal was at the Wild Olive. But the very best parts of Creekwatch were observing the wildlife from the porch and kayaking (in February!!!) We are recommending this property to all our friends.
A beautiful relaxing location - just down from the beach and full of fun things to do around.
Thank you for your visit with us at this creek front townhouse. The views from the screened porch are magical and it is definitely one of the best values in our inventory.
This is our new favorite. You cannot take your eyes off the marsh and the birdlife.
Thanks so much. We agree the views from 1226 are totally captivating! We look forward to assisting you again with a future stay.
Hot as blue blazes, but great A/C! Our condo was clean, simply decorated, had a great view of the creek and the marsh. Porpoises put on a show in the creek our first day, feeding and making their way slowly back to the ocean. Porch sitting is a delight with bird songs and marsh critters. Pam Harrington folks are the best!
Quick weekend getaway as I just live in Charleston. Despite the rain it was a lovely stay. The unit was fresh and cheerful and recently updated. Very comfortable with spectacular views.
We have stayed in MANY rentals over the years is this was one of our favorites. We were hesitant about Seabrook in general as we had never been to the area and I am not the "gated community" type of person but we were pleasantly surprised. The area is beautiful, the people friendly, the whole island feels like one large neighborhood and it was perfect for riding our bikes.
As for the house, it was very clean, nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. We LOVED the bedrooms (especially the guest room) and the bathrooms. The views are great and the sun porch was the perfect place to start and end the day. We are not big TV watchers but I will say we did enjoy the large smart TV the couple movie nights we had.
The kitchen was well appointed. The only thing we did not find was a 9x13 pan so we went and bought one. We cooked a lot and it had pretty much everything we needed. The garage was great to store our bikes. We brought 2 and rented 2 from Alligator Rental (they were wonderful to work with).
We had to call the rental company about a couple things during the week and they were immediately responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend them and use them again in a second!
A couple notes that may help anyone coming: There is in fact a hairdryer there (we were not expecting that), they also supplied hand soap, bath soap, toilet paper (enough for 4 of us for the week), a roll of paper towels, DW det, dish soap, and garbage bags. All things we dragged the 800 miles because past rentals did not supply. That was a VERY nice touch and another reason we would recommend. It is the small touches that make a place stand out.
A couple things that did not take away from the trip but would be nice: The deck off the master has only one hard plastic lounge chair. Chairs to sit and enjoy the deck would be nice. Neighbors had a table so they could eat out. Master bedroom window did not have a blind and it would have been nice for sleeping in (not needed for privacy).
The owners have checked all the boxes to insure this villa stays fully booked. It has comfortable, clean and fresh furnishings that didn't come from granny's attic. Pets are allowed . Location is great especially if you are bringing kayaks the launch is close and it has the open garage to store them. Only negative for us is the lack of privacy of the screened porch, the adjacent villa's porch is quite close and in full view. Also have to comment on Seabrook Exclusives, we are frequent visitors to Seabrook and until we booked thru them we thought all agencies were pretty much the same. Just little things like a nice canvas beach bag, full sized supplies, nice sand chairs provided, no checking required and a really nice app that consolidates all the info you need for the rental. This will be our #1 preferred villa for future rentals.
