Childcare & Babysitting On Seabrook Island

Welcome to the magical shores of South Carolina’s Seabrook Island, where sun, sand, and endless smiles abound. On Seabrook Island, it’s easy to embrace the simplicity of a family-focused vacation swapping screen time for sunsets, modern tech for oak-draped nature trails, and cranky dinner times for family fun dancing to live music at Freshfields Village.

The kids will love biking and beachcombing along miles of shoreline, kayaking and SUPing the creeks, catching crabs, watching dolphins and baby sea turtles, and trading regular routines with carefree moments. On Seabrook Island, your furry family members are welcome too! But, when the time comes for mom and dad to enjoy carefree moments on vacation, where do you turn? 

The kids activities at the Beach Club do require parental supervision, but while the kids have fun, you can relax by the pool, find shade under a beach cabana with a good book, sip cocktails poolside at Cap’n Sams Grill, or snack on succulent seafood with an ice cold cocktail oceanfront at the Pelican’s Nest – sounds good to us! 

Family Bonfire Night | Monday | 8 PM to 9 PM 

Family Bonfire Night takes place on the private beach in front of the Beach Club pools! Be sure to save room after dinner for delicious all-you-can-eat s’mores! 

Tie Dyeing | Tuesday & Thursday | 2 PM to 4 PM

Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon the kids can tie dye their own Seabrook Island T-Shirt poolside at the Beach Club. Stop by the Seabrook Shoppe to pick up more branded swag during your stay. 

Pool Games | Wednesday & Friday | 12 PM and 2 PM 

The Beach Club has two sparkling saltwater pools with a sundeck and lounge chairs to soak up some rays with a light snack and tropical cocktail from Cap’n Sams Grill while the kids play pool games.

Movie Night | Thursday | 5 PM to 7:30 PM 

Every Thursday evening, kids ages 4 to 10 years gather in the Cooper Room at the Island House (across from the Beach Club) for Kids Movie Night. Seating is limited, please call (843) 768-1261 to reserve your spot!

Start your child’s golfing journey with the PGA professionals at Seabrook Island’s eco-friendly Ocean Winds Golf Course and Crooked Oaks Golf Course. They’ll be golfing like a pro in no time! Private coaching lessons are available for junior players or pick from one of their seasonal junior coaching sessions, available the week of Easter and during the summer from June through August. Call the Pro Shop at (843) 768-2529 for coaching sessions and family tee times.

Game time takes on a new meaning for the kids at the Seabrook Island Racquet Club! Ranked one of the finest tennis facilities in the world, the award-winning racquet club offers private and group tennis instruction along with excellent junior camps during the summer season. If you’re keen to teach your kids to play tennis – consider their junior coaching camps! Rising Stars discovers the fun of game time on the courts, Futures teaches the fundamentals of tennis, and the Next-Gen program is geared toward high-school and tournament players keen to hit the courts and improve their skills during summer break.
